About Us
Mississippi Access Group Network-Health Center Controlled Network (MAGnet-HCCN) is a Mississippi chartered corporation consisting of five community health center with a mission to strengthen collaboration and coordination for improved health access, performance, outcomes and cost efficiencies.
MAGnet-HCCN’s vision is to improve the health status for all Mississippians through integrated health. This partnership consists of: Central Mississippi Civic Improvement Association d/b/a Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center, Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services, Inc., Greater Meridian Community Health Center, Dr. Arenia G. Mallory Community Health Center, and Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc.
The MAGnet-HCCN service area consists of twenty-four counties throughout Mississippi - including Attala, Carroll, Coahoma, Copiah, Covington, Forrest, Hinds, Holmes, Kemper, Lamar, Lauderdale, Leflore, Madison, Montgomery, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Panola, Pearl River, Perry, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica, Warren, and Winston. Collectively, the service area population is 966,401 (U.S. Census QuickFacts: July 1, 2021). The service area residents are 50.6% Black/African American, 47.0% white and 2.4% other races.
Oversight for this proposed project will be provided by the MAGnet-HCCN Coalition Board of Directors.
